Juvéderm Volift (marketed as Vollure in the US) is a Vycross-technology hyaluronic acid filler at 17.5 mg/ml HA with 0.3% lidocaine, positioned between Volbella and Voluma in the range. It is indicated for injection into the mid-to-deep dermis to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, particularly nasolabial folds, while remaining flexible enough to move naturally with facial expression. It is also used off-label for cheek, jawline and lip enhancement. Clinical and manufacturer sources report results lasting up to around 15–18 months. For use by licensed, trained medical practitioners only.

Juvederm Volift sits in the middle of Allergan's VYCROSS collection, built on cross-linked hyaluronic acid technology that blends short- and long-chain HA molecules for a smooth, cohesive gel. At roughly 17.5mg/ml, its viscosity is tuned for correcting moderate facial wrinkles and folds and restoring volume in the mid-face, distinct from the firmer Voluma formulation used for deeper structural support.

Allergan's VYCROSS gels are formulated to integrate evenly into tissue with less swelling than older HA technologies, and every product in the range — including Volift — is pre-mixed with lidocaine for a more comfortable injection experience and remains reversible with hyaluronidase if adjustment is ever needed.

Juvederm Volift is injected into the mid to deep dermis using linear threading, fanning or bolus technique. It should not be injected into the periorbital area (eyelids, under-eye, crow's feet) or glabellar region.

Results are visible immediately; a touch-up session may follow after 2-4 weeks if needed.

  • Do not inject in the periorbital area or glabellar region
  • Do not inject into blood vessels; do not overcorrect
  • Untreated epilepsy or porphyria
  • Patients prone to hypertrophic scarring
  • Known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine/amide-type anaesthetics
  • Pregnancy, breastfeeding, or children
  • Areas with cutaneous inflammatory or infectious processes (e.g. acne, herpes)
  • Should not be combined with same-session laser, deep chemical peels or dermabrasion
